Sea Turtles are keystone species in marine environments. They help maintain the health seafloor habitat, coral reefs and beaches by regulating jellyfish and other organisms populations. This Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) mainly feeds on seagrass. By grazing on seagrass meadows, they prevent the grass from growing too long and suffocating on itself.
